Our President and State Minister, Mr. Zülfikar Zeynula, as part of his official visits to the Republic of Türkiye, paid a visit to Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, at his office.
During the meeting, discussions focused on further strengthening the economic and trade partnership between Türkiye and North Macedonia, increasing mutual investments, and exploring new opportunities for cooperation.
Particular emphasis was placed on the bilateral trade volume target, updating the Free Trade Agreement, and expanding the operations of Turkish companies that have already made significant investments in North Macedonia.
Furthermore, following the Türkiye–North Macedonia Business Forum held in Istanbul, the two sides discussed their shared commitment to organizing the next forum in Skopje, bringing together the business communities of both countries to explore new investment projects and opportunities.
Our President, Mr. Zülfikar Zeynula, emphasized the importance of Türkiye’s economic strength and investment experience for the development of North Macedonia. He stated that one of his key priorities is to transform the historic bonds of brotherhood between our countries into concrete investments, new employment opportunities, and sustainable long-term economic partnerships.
Our President expressed his gratitude to Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, for his close attention to North Macedonia, the valuable support extended to our country, and his constructive approach to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
